So i resigned my contract to teach at least another year up here in Gambell, AK. I endured this long, i figured...what the heck, might as well do another year.
Buyers remorse started to set in again however this afternoon. I started think about all that i'm still missing living up here. I really do miss going out and doing things, making new friends and just having a life other than work. I ultimately know that it was the best decision to re-sign for another year, as it really isn’t that bad, i love my job, love the kids and the pay is good.
Time goes by so quick here too, i cannot believe we have already reached the middle of February. Only 3 months left until school is out and i get to see my family down in Washington once more.
I know this post is short and there seems to be an absence of photos. I will post more photos soon of the snow and the frozen ocean. I'm too tired to deal with it tonight. Tomorrow is my last day of coaching cheer! Hooray!
